ROUND ROCK, Texas – Ascension Seton Williamson has announced a remarkable addition to its facilities with the construction of a new six-story medical tower, as part of a substantial $230 million expansion. This development aims to meet the growing demands for healthcare services in the area.

The forthcoming tower will occupy an impressive 216,000 square feet and will cater to the needs of patients with its 160 beds, including a specialized 12-bed observation unit. Additionally, the tower will feature two state-of-the-art operating rooms, while also offering increased space for emergency, imaging, cardiac catheterization, and surgery departments. This expansion will undoubtedly enhance the hospital’s ability to provide comprehensive and efficient medical care to its patients.

With the implementation of this project, Ascension Seton Williamson expects to create over 400 new positions to accommodate the additional capacity. In addition to the construction of the new medical tower, the expansion plans include the development of an extra 34,000 square feet at the nearby Ascension Seton Williamson Medical Plaza at 301 Seton Parkway.
