Arrested in connection with the 2015 Hendry County murder case.

HENDRY COUNTY, Florida — The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) and the State Attorney’s Division of Investigations for the 20th Judicial District are making an arrest in a 2015 murder case.

Investigators have arrested 31-year-old Bradley Lanorris Kelly Jr. for the December 16, 2015 murder at the Harlem Tenant Apartments in Cluiston, Florida that killed Fred E. Robbins.

Deputies say Robbins was shot several times and was found dead in his home. Kelly was arrested on one count of manslaughter, first-degree armed burglary, and robbery with a deadly weapon.

On December 16, 2015, the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office approached the FDLE for help with this case. FDLE took the lead in the investigation.

In 2021, the FDLE submitted the investigation to State Attorney Amira Fox’s Unsolved Homicide Unit for review of the case.

Kelly is currently in the Hendry County Jail on unrelated charges.

He first appeared in court and bail was not set.
