Amber Alert terminated after McKinney girls found themselves safe
McKinney, TX (CBSDFW.COM) — Two girls who were went missing on Thursday were found unharmed, McKinney police said Sunday evening.
The Amber Alert was issued Thursday after Jessica Burns, 9, and Jennifer Burns, 6, were allegedly abducted by their 60-year-old grandmother, Jaime Burns, during a supervised visit to their father. Now it has been cancelled.
James was arrested in Richardson on Sunday evening. She faces two criminal charges of kidnapping.
The investigation is ongoing.
