Amber Alert issued for two girls kidnapped in North Texas

McKinney, Texas – The McKinney Police Department issued an Amber Alert to two girls they say were abducted yesterday.

Jennifer Burns, 6, and Jessica Burns, 9, were last seen around 6:00 pm yesterday at the 300 block of the N. Central Expressway in McKinney, Texas.

Jennifer was last seen wearing purple glasses, a light blue shirt with a glittery design on the front, and blue jeans.

Jessica was last seen wearing dark-rimmed glasses, a red long-sleeve shirt with black shoulders and sleeves, and blue jeans.

Police say the suspect is Jamie Burns, a 60-year-old white woman with brown hair and brown eyes. Police say she is about 5 feet 2 inches and weighs about 230 pounds.

She is supposed to drive a black SUV with a white scratch on the front, silver door handles, and a black interior.
