Altamonte Springs Man Shot in I-4 Ramp Road-Rage Incident, Deputies Report

A road rage incident in Davenport, Polk County, Florida, has left a 58-year-old man from Altamonte Springs critically wounded after being shot early Sunday morning. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the incident, which occurred around 2 a.m. on the I-4 off-ramp to Highway 27.

According to authorities, the victim was on his way to work in Polk County when the shooting took place. A witness informed deputies that a dark-colored two-door car and a white Dodge truck, belonging to the victim, were engaged in aggressive driving behavior, constantly changing lanes and maneuvering around each other.

Ultimately, both vehicles came to a halt on the off-ramp. It was at this point that the victim was discovered lying on the ground beside his pickup truck. He was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital in grave condition, as stated by deputies.
