Afternoon tea at this New York hotel will set you back $3,000 – here’s what you get

Inflation affects every aspect of life, even the most luxurious entertainment.

One New York hotel charges a high price for afternoon tea. And while it’s not shocking that such a posh experience in the city can cost a fortune, the cost is mind blowing even for the most luxurious of us.

Baccarat Hotel New York recently launched The Crystal Tea, which is now the most expensive afternoon tea in the city. So how much does it cost?

Tea for two will cost you $3,000. This is almost enough for the down payment on the car.

But it’s more than just a pot of tea and a few sandwiches. The Michelin-starred chef’s menu offers both sweets and snacks, including caviar, white truffles, Kobe beef and lobster.

Crystal tea is served every day from 12:00 to 16:00 in the Grand Salon of the hotel in the city centre.
