According to the sheriff, the love triangle escalates into a shooting and stab wounds, as a result of which three people were taken to the hospital.

ALDIN, Texas. In a situation believed to have been caused by domestic violence, a woman and two men were injured and taken to an area hospital on Monday, Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said.

The incident occurred at a trailer near the intersection of Strawn and Crisman streets in the Aldeen area. Gonzalez tweeted about the incident around 20:30

He said the man broke into the trailer and shot the woman, who was his ex-girlfriend. According to Gonzalez, she received a bruised wound.

According to Gonzalez, another man – the woman’s current boyfriend – heard a noise from another room and confronted the ex-boyfriend with a knife.

Gonzalez said that the ex-boyfriend tried to shoot the current boyfriend, but his gun jammed, and then they got into a fight. According to Gonzalez, they both received stab wounds, cuts and were taken to hospital due to their injuries.

All three are expected to survive, Gonzalez said.
