According to HPD, the man who was stolen by the truck is wanted after the man is found dead at the Timbergros’ home.

HOUSTON. Investigators said they are looking for a man and a stolen truck after a fatal shooting in northwest Houston last week.

Authorities said the man was found dead in a house on West TC Jester Boulevard near West 18th Street around 8:30 a.m. Friday, but investigators believe the shooting actually happened around 3:30 p.m. Thursday, according to police.

The 35-year-old victim has not been identified.

Police said they were looking for the homeowner, 37-year-old James Gerald Martin III. Although they said they were looking for him, investigators said he had not been charged in connection with the incident.

Police also said they were looking for a white 2022 Dodge Ram truck with Oregon license plate 915NLP.

Anyone with information about the truck or the whereabouts of Martin III is asked to call HPD Homicide at 713-308-3600 or Crime Squad at 713-222-TIPS (8477).
