Abunga cow! Osceola County Fair returns in 2023
COUNTY COUNTY, Florida. – The 79th Osceola County Fair returns in 2023 with a packed program of events with something for everyone.
The annual 10-day event hosted by the Kissimmee Valley Livestock Show & Fair begins on the second Friday of February and runs through the 19th.
According to the fair’s website, KVLS is a non-profit organization “dedicated to promoting agriculture, educating and developing local youth and the Osceola County community.” The organization said it supports the youth of Osceola County by providing scholarships and grants to youth, including 4H children and Future Farmers of America, as well as providing a show floor for livestock shows throughout the year.
In addition to the rides and all the mind-blowing fairground food you could ever imagine, the fair will debut the Osceola Idol, featuring local talent vying for the title and a fully-paid scholarship to Chicago’s Launch Showcase.

According to representatives of the fair, after a seven-year break, the derby is back.
A press release about the fair said, in part: “Our performances this year are also fantastic. We have the return of the Eudora Farms petting zoo, the Rosaire royal racers and, since you asked for it, the brand new amazing Scotts World of Magic Show and the Pompeyo family dog show. Throw in space adventures, the Wow Science Factor and famous laser tag, and we have a full and varied list of things to do.”
