A video from Houston shows how a man at gunpoint robbed a frightened 72-year-old woman and drove away in a BMW

A February video captured the horrifying moment when a suspect in a ski mask held an elderly woman at gunpoint while demanding the keys to her BMW sedan.

The footage provided by the Houston Police Department Robbery Unit was filmed on February 11 at 2:50 pm in Houston.

The video shows a 72-year-old woman in the garage of her apartment building in the 10200 block in Rosehip Forest.

Police said she had just opened the garage door and was packing something into her truck. She was then approached from behind by an unknown suspect who pointed a gun at her and demanded that she hand over her car keys to him.

The woman started screaming and her 75-year-old husband opened the front door.

The armed suspect, dressed all in black, turned his attention to the husband and demanded the keys.

Do you need keys? the husband asked. “OK OK.”

The suspect, who is in his early 20s and is approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, constantly repeated, “Right now.”

He briefly followed her husband to their home, took the keys to a black four-door BMW, and drove away in a car.

The next day, the car was found unoccupied and on a residential street next to an apartment complex at 5401 Rampart.
