A tree has landed on a nursing home in Corralitos

CORRALITOS, Calif. (KION-TV) — CAL FIRE reported that a tree fell on a nursing home for 19 seniors on Tuesday.

CAL FIRE, the Santa Cruz County Fire Department (and 1 SCC Volunteer Firefighter) and Corralitos firefighters assisted De un Amor Assisted Living and they say no one was hurt.

CAL FIRE says most of the building was not damaged and the building is considered safe.

Firefighters remained at the site until it was deemed safe. According to CAL FIRE, the holes were covered with plastic viscous to prevent further water damage to the interior.
