A tourist from Texas was detained in a headdress, robbed with a knife in New York: police

A Texas tourist was head-locked in midtown Manhattan Sunday morning when she and another woman were robbed at knifepoint, police said.

The two women, whose ages were not released, were outside West 45th Street and 11th Avenue around 00:30 a.m. when two men approached them and demanded their possessions, police said.

According to police, one of the robbers had a knife and took a purse and mobile phone from one of the victims.

According to the police, the tourist was placed in a hedzamok, but nothing was taken from her. Where the second woman came from was unclear.

One of the robbers was a Hispanic man wearing a black hat, black jacket, white shirt and black pants, police said.

The cops didn’t have a description of the second male suspect.

The wallet was empty.

None of the victims were hurt.
