A small plane near the runway stops all flights at Hobby Airport

HOUSTON — All flights have been halted at Hobby Airport after a small plane skidded off the runway, an airport spokesman said.

The minor crash happened around 11:30 a.m. after the plane landed safely but ended up in the grass, the airport said.

As the plane is caught between two main runways, no flight can land or take off until at least 13:00.

It is not known what caused the aircraft to veer off course.
