A “small human fetus” found in a shallow grave has been handed over to Fort Bend County Medical Examiners.

Authorities are investigating a shocking discovery in Branham, Texas, where a human fetus was found in a shallow grave.

It all started late Sunday afternoon when Branham police officers were called to Holt Park on North Park Street after witnesses reported suspicious activity.

According to a press release, the officers who arrived met with witnesses who said they saw several people “walking to the parking lot after leaving the forest.”

In addition, the witness described how one of the people seen coming out of the woods had a “caring” demeanor and demeanor.

When investigators searched the area, officials said they found “a shallow grave in which the body of the deceased was found, resembling a small human fetus.”

As of Monday, the investigation is ongoing, several witnesses have been interviewed, and the fetus has been transferred to the Forensic Examiner’s Office of Fort Bend County for autopsy.
