A man with a police ID is shot and killed by an Applebee’s patron in The Villages.

VILLAGES, Florida. — Lady Lake police have identified a man who was shot and killed by a patron at Applebee’s restaurant in The Villages early Tuesday morning.

Dishawn Marquis Hudson, 38, arrived at the restaurant located at 1009 Bichara Boulevard just before 1 a.m. Tuesday, according to a police department release.

Police said Hudson was sitting at a patio table with a group of other people, but walked out into the parking lot, where at least three shots were fired before the vehicle left the scene.

After hearing the shots, customers still inside the restaurant ran out the back door, the release said.
