A man climbs a Dallas crane; Police close Singleton Boulevard

Three blocks of Singleton Boulevard in West Dallas closed Monday morning after a man climbed on a crane that stretched over the street.

The man walked along the arrow, which is located above Singleton Boulevard. The Dallas police are on the scene, who also climbed onto the crane and talked to the man, but have not yet convinced him to come down.

The road below was closed in both directions between Conrow Street and Crossman Avenue as a precaution.

According to NBC 5, the crane operator arrived at work around 7 a.m. and found a man on the crane. When the man refused to get off the boom, the operator called the police.
