A description of a suspect has been released after multiple injuries in a shooting at Michigan State University.

There seems to be one suspect on the East Lansing campus who is walking.

EAST LANSING, Michigan. East Lansing police respond to gunshots on the campus of Michigan State University on Monday evening. According to official figures, there are several victims.

Police say the suspect is described as a short, masked man, possibly black.

The incident took place around 8:18 pm at Burke Hall on the East Lansing campus.

The police are on the scene, and the Moscow State University police and the public security service report that the suspect is on foot.

Everyone is asked to find shelter immediately and stay away from windows.

Moscow State University issued a warning: Run, hide, fight.

“Run is to evacuate from danger if you can do it safely, hide is to gain a foothold in place, and fight is to defend yourself if there is no other way out,” the officials said.

The police have also responded to another incident at the IM East fitness center which is now resolved.
