A car crashed into a Florida Highway Patrol crime scene.

CHARLOTT COUNTY, Florida. On Friday, March 3, 2023, the Florida Highway Patrol was investigating a traffic accident on I-75 when a vehicle drove over the crime scene.

According to FHP, the sedan collided with an FHP patrol car and fled the scene.

Soon the car was stopped, and the driver was arrested for fleeing the scene of the accident and driving while intoxicated.

The driver was identified as Guy Spennato and was taken to the Charlotte County Jail.
