A 46-year-old man was stabbed during a fight in a New York bar over the weekend

A man was stabbed during a bar fight in Queens early Sunday morning — one of at least four people stabbed this weekend in the city, police said.

The 46-year-old victim was injured after he and another man got into a fight at the Cañas restaurant and bar in Jamaica around 00:45, an NYPD spokesman said.

He was taken to a Jamaica hospital in a stable condition. His opponent ran away.

In another incident, also in Queens, a 57-year-old man was stabbed in the stomach, arm and leg in a residential area on 60th Avenue near Lawrence Street just before midnight on Sunday.
