SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, FL. (WSVN) – A young cancer survivor wins at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital.
With some help from his sister, 2-year-old Obi rang the facility’s bell on Wednesday to celebrate finally being free of cancer.
In February 2022, the baby was diagnosed with a rare diagnosis: pleuropulmonary blastoma, a type of lung cancer in children.
A year later, he is celebrating with his family, doctors and hospital staff.
The special event included a surprise visit from his favorite superhero, Spider-Man.
