This sprawling Upper West Side home is so much more than a classic six.
The second wife of billionaire George Soros, historian Susan Weber, is once again trying to get rid of her house-sized cooperative unit.
After failing to sell her luxury penthouse more than a decade ago, in 2012, she once again put the stunning Central Park West up for sale, according to Crain. Weber, who founded and is currently the director of Bard College’s 86th Street Graduate Center, paid $25 million for the 12-room pre-war home in 2006 and sought $50 million for it after the first listing. That high price was subsequently reduced to $32.5 million before disappearing from the market, according to Crain’s. Now the seven-bath, five-bedroom home is back for $27.5 million.
“It’s really hard to find five or six-bedroom apartments that are big enough,” Lisa K. Lippman, a Brown Harris Stevens listing spokesperson, told The Post. “Also, this is an apartment in the northeast corner that extends beyond the Dakota,” she added, noting that most of the rooms have amazing views.

From a 104-foot terrace, Central Park stretches all the way to the horizon.
In addition to 6,000 square feet of indoor space, the 19-story home at 115 Central Park West, known as Majestic, also has 900 square feet of outdoor space. “You can live indoors and outdoors in an open kitchen, which is something you would never find in a pre-war building,” Lippmann added.
Other amenities include a private lift entrance, two dishwashers, a sink bar and a “library the size of a living room” as stated in the description. The master bedroom is large, and the suite also features an office, separate dressing rooms, and “the most luxurious master bathroom ever.” The space is really huge and accommodates a huge custom made bathtub, double marble vanity and steam shower. The main suite also has a private terrace facing east.
The rest of the bedrooms, staff rooms and laundry are located in a separate wing of the building.
