Thieves strike another Queens car dealership, swipe 26 vehicles: NYPD
More than two dozen cars were swiped overnight from a Queens dealership — the second heist at a luxury car lot in the borough in the past few weeks, cops said Monday.
Thieves made off with 26 vehicles from the Carsiri Queens dealership on Queens Boulevard after workers closed up shop Sunday night, according to police.
The missing vehicles were noticed Monday morning when the dealership opened for business, police said.
Cops said the crew broke into the dealership’s office and grabbed the keys to each of the stolen rides.
The theft comes three weeks after 20 luxury cars, including BMWs, Mercedes-Benzes and Audis, were stolen from a Mitsubishi dealership in Jamaica in the same manner.
Cops are investigating whether the same gang of thieves pulled off both heists, law enforcement sources said.
