7-year-old San Antonio girl no longer subject of AMBER Alert

The AMBER Alert issued for a missing 7-year-old girl, Amarianna Marie Benavidez, in San Antonio has been discontinued after she was found safe and in good health, as confirmed by the Texas Department of Public Safety. The San Antonio Police Department reported that two people were arrested for kidnapping, and an ongoing investigation is taking place.

Earlier in the week, an AMBER Alert was issued for Amarianna after she disappeared from the 5800 block of Northwest Loop 410, near Ingram Park Mall. She was last seen wearing a pink shirt, purple shorts, and no shoes, standing approximately 4-foot-3, weighing 70 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. San Antonio Police stated that Amarianna had a missing tooth and a scar on her upper lip.

Authorities urged anyone who had seen or had information on the whereabouts of the child to contact the San Antonio Police Department on (210) 207-7660.
