64th Annual AISD FFA Livestock Show to be held January 25-27 – Northeast News


ALDIN – The 64th Annual Aldine ISD FFA Livestock Show will be held January 25-27 at the MO Campbell Education Center.

“Please know that we are taking every precaution to ensure that the safety and health of our students, staff, parents and visitors is our top priority,” said Brooke Martin, Executive Director of Vocational and Technical Education. “All screenings and the live auction will be available virtually for those who do not wish to attend in person.”

On Wednesday, January 25the pig show will take place at 10:00 and the bull show at 16:00.

Thursday, January 26 the horse show will take place at 8:00 am, followed by the poultry show at 9:00 am and the lambs and goats show at 13:00 pm.

Friday, January 27th Buyer’s Lunch will be at 11:30 AM, followed by the Champion Sale at 1:00 PM at MO Campbell Arena.

Two new additions are being added to this year’s show this year. On Wednesday, January 25, the Staff Swine Showmanship event will be held immediately after the pig show. AISD staff will showcase their talents as exhibitors. The winner will not only receive an award, but more importantly, the right to brag throughout the year.

In addition, Livestock Show T-shirts will be sold through RevTrack on all district high school websites. A competition was held among primary school students who were tasked with creating designs for this year’s Livestock Show. Darius Jack, a fifth grader at Cypresswood Elementary School, came up with the winning design.
