3 people died, including 2 teenagers, in accidents in New York

Authorities said three people died, including two teenage BMW passengers, in separate crashes in the Big Apple on Sunday.

One of the young victims, 16-year-old Ronish Kush, was ejected from a 2011 BMW around 10:45 p.m. Sunday when the driver lost control, crashed into a median and overturned onto Belt Parkway near Farmers Boulevard in Springfield Gardens. Queens. the cops said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Another passenger, 18-year-old Sukhmani Singh, was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center where he was also pronounced dead.

The 19-year-old driver was taken to the same hospital in stable condition.

Preliminary investigators believe that speed was a factor in the fatal accident.

About 15 minutes earlier in Manhattan, Nathaniel Knight, 40, was riding an electric motorcycle when he was fatally shot on Roosevelt Roosevelt Street near East 55th Street, police said.
