2023 Heritage Lunch – Friday 12 May 2023

The Community Assistance Center (CAC) invites the community to the 2023 Heritage Luncheon on Friday, May 12, 2023 at the Lake Conroe Margaritaville Resort with a silent auction and mimosas beginning at 10:30 AM.

The event will celebrate local leaders, business partners, religious partners, service organizations and the amazing power of volunteers. Legacy Award recipients include Janet Stilwell, Faith Partner of the Year – Woodlands Community Presbyterian Church, Community Partner of the Year – Conroe Noon Lions Club, and Distinguished Service Award (Volunteer of the Year) – Janet Thompson.

The Community Assistance Center (CAC) is pleased to welcome TEDTalk speaker and Aidan Cares founder Aidan Anderson. At the age of seven, Aidan found that one simple choice set him on the path to achieving his goal. Aidan is committed to connecting people to important causes and finding ways to contribute to a better future. His message communicates the necessity and joy of giving to people of all ages. Since 2008, his message has reached millions in over 30 countries, prompting children around the world to start their own philanthropic initiatives. At the age of 22, Aidan plays harmonica, ukulele, guitar, sings and shares his story wherever he can to encourage people to find their passion in philanthropy.
