1 woman arrested, 2 more wanted after attacking a store employee at Willowbrook Mall, police say.

HOUSTON – One woman has been arrested and two others are wanted after police said they attacked an employee while trying to steal from Willowbrook Mall.

On Tuesday, January 17, Houston police responded to reports of a robbery at Willowbrook Mall.

The three women entered the department store and began to hide goods under their clothes, police said. As this was happening, officers said a loss prevention officer was watching women move around the store.

When the suspects tried to leave the store without paying for the merchandise, the officers said an employee ran into them and they became very aggressive.

Two suspects managed to escape the department store, but an employee managed to apprehend one of the women, 22-year-old Le Andria Martin.

Martin was arrested and charged with robbery with bodily harm.

Anyone with information on the other two suspects is asked to contact Crime Stoppers of Houston at 713-222-TIPS.
