1 killed in fatal crash in Osceola County

COUNTY COUNTY, Florida. — A 73-year-old woman has died and three others were sent to hospital after an accident in Osceola County on Wednesday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

FHP told News 6 that the crash happened around 8:41 p.m. on Narcousy Road and Boggy Creek Road in St. Cloud.

Soldiers reported that a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado was heading north on Narcussee Road towards the Bogey Creek Road intersection.

The 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan was heading south on Narcussy Road, the military said, and when the Chevrolet turned left on Boggy Creek Road, it entered the straight path of the Volkswagen.

As a result, Chevrolet crashed into the left side of Volkswagen, according to FHP.

Soldiers said the driver of the Volkswagen, a 73-year-old man from Michigan, and two Volkswagen passengers were taken to the hospital for injuries.

The woman in the Volkswagen died in the hospital, FHP said.

The roadblock is currently closed to the north and south lanes of Narcussy Road along the eastern lanes of Boggy Creek Road as military personnel investigate the crash, FHP said.

At the moment there is no additional information.
