1 killed, 4 injured in shooting outside NW Harris County nightclub
HOUSTON – One person was killed and four others injured in a shooting outside a Harris County nightclub in the northwest early Sunday morning, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said.
It happened outside Lounge 33 in the 5100 FM 1960 block off Greenwood Forest Drive around 2am.
Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said a car with an unknown number of people stopped in front of the club.

This group got out of the car and that’s when the deputies said they pulled out their guns and started shooting at club goers outside the club and then fled the scene.
Sheriff Gonzalez said more than 50 shots were fired at the parking lot.
Five people (two men and three women) were injured as a result of the shelling. All of them were taken to regional hospitals, where one of the victims, a man, later died.
The condition of the other four is not yet known.
Investigators have no suspicious information. It is not clear if these people were targeted.
